Blog: scheduling, renaming and search

The blog is part of the Pro plan.

Schedule a post

In the post editor, set Publish on (Lagos time) and choose Schedule post. The post is saved as live but stays hidden from visitors until that time; there is nothing to switch on later. The post list marks it Scheduled. Clearing the date and saving as a draft cancels it. A post that is already live keeps the time it went live.

Rename without breaking links

If you change the address (slug) of a post that has been public, the old address redirects to the new one permanently, so links you already shared and search results keep working.

Search description

Each post has a Search description of up to 200 characters. It is what search engines and link previews show; if you leave it empty the start of the post is used.

Find a post

The Blog page has a search box over titles and lists 20 posts at a time.

Comments

A commenter's first comment is held for your approval. Once you approve it, that person's later comments appear without waiting, until you remove one of theirs.
