Add publications in bulk
Paste a list, upload a BibTeX or RIS file, look up DOIs, or import from ORCID.
On the Publications page, Add publication offers several ways to add many at once. Every way ends at the same review screen: nothing is saved until you have looked at each entry and chosen what to add.
Import a BibTeX or RIS file
Export your references from Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, Google Scholar or a journal site, then choose Import a BibTeX or RIS file and either pick the file or paste its text. EduProfile recognises the format by itself.
- Titles, authors, journal or book title, year and DOI are read. LaTeX accents such as
{\"o}become the real letter. - Entries with no title cannot be added; they appear unticked so you can fix or drop them.
- A file can be up to about a million characters.
Paste a list
Paste a list of references in APA, Vancouver or similar styles, numbered or not. This reading is rule-based, so check each entry on the review screen.
Add by DOI
Enter one or more DOIs and the details are fetched from Crossref.
Import from ORCID
If your ORCID link is saved on your profile, EduProfile lists the works linked to your ORCID iD, up to 300, for you to choose from.
Duplicates
An entry that has the same DOI, or the same title and year, as one you already have is marked as a duplicate and left unticked, so importing the same file twice does not double your list.
